Job Description:
- Maintains, diagnoses and repairs a variety of equipment including; diesel engines, transmissions, drive train components, winches, high pressure pumps, centrifugal pumps, sand conveyor systems, air compressors, microprocessor controls, electro-mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mobile/overhead cranes, wellhead attachments and pressure equipment, gearboxes, PTO's, generators, chemical metering systems, 12/24v electrical systems, equipment cabs and controls, chassis and suspension, rims, tires and wheels, forklifts, A/C systems, and a variety of other energy services equipment.
- Performs preventive/predictive maintenance procedures on all equipment.
- Performs basic troubleshooting on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Installs and/or replaces new or reconditioned repair parts.
- Tests equipment for proper operation.
- Operates lifting devices.
- Performs regulatory tank testing where required. Performs basic cutting and welding procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications: - A Valid CDL License is required.
- Forklift certification required.
- Requires basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic circuits/drawings/prints.
- Requires basic working knowledge of equipment operation and associated operating systems.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment (i.e., DVOM, Cat ET, Pro Link).
- Familiarization of electronic cables, connections, and sensors.
- Must be able to lift 50- 100lbs occasionally (25- 50lbs frequently, 10- 20lbs consistently).
- On feet all day, all movements (walking, bend, lift, stoop…).
- Good communication and problem solving.
- High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a plus.
