New Employees hired will be awarded a $350 bonus upon completing 30 days of employment with perfect attendance.
Schedule: 8am-5pm, Monday- Friday
Pay: $17+ per hour to start.
Duties:
- Will primarily be responsible for the setup and operation of a CNC laser for metal fabrication.
- Knowledge and hands-on operation of CNC laser for metal fabrication including program retrieval, proper gases, proper nozzles, lenses, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication process and concepts.
- Provide routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs to CNC laser machine.
- Setup metal fabrication machinery and other production necessities to produce "0 defect" parts.
- Check accuracy of work using blueprints and precision measuring tools.
- Accurately complete work orders with correct quantities of good and defective parts.
Requirements:
- High School or equivalent and/or related experience required.
- Ability to use Direct read measuring devices required.
- Ability to properly document paperwork.
- Ability to operate a forklift and obtain certification.
- Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing engineering, fabrication management and/or operations of low and mid-sized volume metal fabrication preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand functionality of parts and their components.
