2nd Shift Packaging Lead (Pet Nutrition Plant)
Location: La Vista, NE
Salary: $18.00+ based on experience
Job Description
New Employees hired will be awarded a $350 bonus upon completing 30 days of employment with perfect attendance!
Days: Monday-Friday (some Saturdays as needed)
Shifts: 2nd shift
Hours: 2:30pm to 10:30pm
Pay Rate: $18.00+ based on experience
Description: The Lead will oversee the packaging process of pet treats. Set up the packaging lines and ensure the staff follow good manufacturing practices.
- Managing staff: Assigning daily tasks, training new staff, and developing relationships with employees
- Ensuring safety: Following health and safety standards, and maintaining a safe work environment
- Monitoring quality: Inspecting products and conducting regular audits
- Communicating: Informing associates of targets and expectations, and escalating concerns to a supervisor
- Managing inventory: Ensuring there's enough materials to meet needs
- Packaging
- Operate Machinery
- Assist in the production area as needed
- Weigh, measure and mix ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Packaging experience is preferred
- Communicate in English
- Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
- Forklift experience preferred
- Machine Operator experience preferred
- Warehouse experience preferred
- No Felonies in the last 7 years.
