Weekend Shift Receiving/Shipping Clerk

Responsible for the accurate Shipping/Receiving of products that includes working with customers on site, scheduling customers for pick-up or delivery of shipment and ensuring the accuracy of unloading inbound trucks.
Shift: Weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) 6:00 am – 6:30 pm. Work 36 hours, paid for 40. NOTE: if physical worked hours is less than 36 for the week, the 4 hours does not apply.
Pay: $19.50/Hour to start.
Responsibilities:
- Provides clerical support in the Shipping/Receiving of products.
- Ensures that all inbound products are counted correctly and received in the system accurately.
- Helps to identify that the seal information is correct.
- Works with transportation to schedule trucks in an efficient manner.
- Complete knowledge of company Good Distribution Practices.
- Responsible for Food Safety.
- Receives bills from drivers and places them on dock doors for unloading/loading.
- Maintain acceptable unloading times of inbound trucks.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High attention to detail is a must.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Team player and motivated by team accomplishments.
- Previous shipping clerk experience.
- Great communication with drivers, team members and managers.
- Computer skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Systems and/or Synapse Warehouse Management is a plus.
